The standards that guide how New Worlds Magazine sources, verifies, corrects and updates every story we publish.
Last updated: October 19, 2026
At New Worlds Magazine, our credibility depends on the quality of our journalism. This Editorial Policy explains the standards the Editorial Team follows when researching, writing, editing and updating content on NeWorldsMagazine.com. It applies to all content, including articles by guest contributors.
We aim to give readers accurate, fair and useful coverage of world news, business, technology, entertainment, fashion, health and lifestyle. We prioritize clarity and context over speed, and we would rather be right than first.
Every article is reviewed by an editor before publication. We verify names, figures, dates, quotes and claims against reliable sources. Statistics are checked against their original source, and we avoid presenting preliminary findings or rumours as established fact. When a claim cannot be verified, we either leave it out or state clearly that it is unconfirmed.
When we make a mistake, we correct it promptly and transparently. Significant corrections are noted at the end of the article, explaining what was changed. Minor fixes such as typos may be corrected without a note.
To report an error, email editorial@newsworldsmagazine.com with the article link and details of the issue.
Our editorial decisions are made solely by the Editorial Team. Advertisers, sponsors and affiliate partners have no say in what we cover or how we cover it. Sponsored content is always clearly labeled and kept separate from independent journalism. See our Advertise With Us page for our advertising standards.
We clearly distinguish between news reporting, analysis and opinion. Opinion and commentary pieces, including many posts in our Blog, are labeled so readers know when they are reading a point of view rather than straight reporting.
We may use artificial intelligence tools to support parts of our workflow, such as research assistance, transcription, summarizing documents or suggesting headlines. AI is never a substitute for human judgment. All content published on the Site is reviewed, fact-checked and edited by members of our Editorial Team, who take full responsibility for its accuracy. We do not publish AI-generated images as real photographs.
Team members and contributors must disclose any personal, financial or professional interest that could affect, or appear to affect, their coverage. Where a conflict exists, the writer will be reassigned or the relationship will be disclosed in the article. We do not accept payment in exchange for favourable coverage.
News evolves, and so do our articles. We update stories when significant new information becomes available and show an updated date where relevant. Evergreen guides are reviewed periodically to keep them accurate and useful.
Headlines must accurately reflect the content of the article. We do not use misleading or clickbait headlines. Images are used with permission or under appropriate licences and are credited where required. Where an image is illustrative rather than a photograph of the event described, we make that clear. We also write descriptive alt text so our content is accessible to as many readers as possible.
Guest articles are welcome but must meet the same standards as our own work. All submissions are edited and fact-checked before publication. See our Write for Us page for details.
